Mike Valetta
Mike Valetta is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt under Tim Burrill, as acknowledged by Carlos Machado, with over 20 years of martial arts experience.
He began Training with Tim Burrill in 2007 and has since had the privilege of learning from some of the most respected figures in the martial arts community, including Carlos Machado, Sergio Penha, Bruno Ewald, and Rigan Machado. With a rich background in both Gi and No-Gi competition, he has participated in numerous tournaments, including submission-only events, where he honed his technical skills and understanding of the sport. His teaching approach reflects a deep comprehension of Jiu-Jitsu fundamentals, broken down into the finest nuances, and a passion for exploring the art’s creative, out-of-the-box possibilities. This blend of precision and ‘polite brutality” makes his instruction both effective and engaging for students at all levels.
