Jeff Haskell

Jeff Haskell started his training in 2011 when he was 14 years old. Having taken time off near the end of his college years from about 2019-2022 due to an injury and a busy life. Jeff then committed back to training and began teaching as well. In 2024 Jeff received his black belt and continues his teaching and training path. He breaks things down to a fundamental concept and takes a systematic approach to Jiu Jitsu.

After taking a few years away from any sports, he found himself at a crossroads while in college and looking for a new passion. Matt found Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and has never looked back. Now 14 years later and after 100 pounds lost he recently earned his black belt from Mat Santos in June 2024. Matt prides himself on incorporating a critical approach to technique with an old school mentality. A veteran of multiple Tap Cancer Out super fights and multiple regional competitions in IBJJF, Grappling industries and NAGA, Matt is ready to add his grappling knowledge to the Team here at Coventry B.JJ.
